TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigational data

During the course of their everyday operation, the computer systems and software routines running this website acquire an amount of personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

This information is not gathered with the purpose of identifying you as an individual, though it could, by its very nature, identify you when processed and associated with data held by third parties.

This data category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers you use to connect to the site; the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources; the time of the request; the method used to submit the request to the server; the size of the file called up in response; the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.); and other parameters relating to your operating system and IT environment.

This information is used only for the purpose of producing anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check the site is running properly, and is deleted as soon as it has been processed. Data may be used for the purpose of ascertaining liability in the case of hypothetical computer crimes that damage the site: except in this case, data on web contacts currently do not last for more than seven days.

Data are provided voluntarily by you

Whenever you opt voluntarily to send emails to the addresses indicated in this site or fill out the enquiry form, we acquire your address - which is necessary in order to reply to the enquiry - as well as other personal data that may have been included in the message.

Specific shorter statements will be referenced or displayed as you go through pages of the site compiled for special on-demand services.

COOKIES
No personal data on users is acquired by the site through cookies.

Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, i.e. user tracking systems or profile cookies.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on your computer's hard drive and vanish when the browser is closed) or other strictly necessary cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (made up of random numbers generated by the server), which are required to enable you to explore the site securely and efficiently.

The so-called session cookies used on this site mean we do not have to resort to other data processing techniques that are potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of user navigation, and they do not allow personal data identifying the user to be acquired.

For the sake of thoroughness, the two main cookie categories are described below, though we would like to remind you that this site uses strictly necessary cookies only.

a. Strictly necessary cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies are cookies used for the sole purpose of "transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network or, insofar as strictly necessary, to the provider of an information company service that the subscriber or user has explicitly requested" (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Italian Privacy Act).
They are not used for additional purposes and are normally installed directly by the site owner or operator. They can be split into transient or session cookies, which enable you to move around the website and use its features (enabling you, for example, to make purchases or log in to access restricted areas); analytics cookies, which are assimilated with strictly necessary cookies where used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they are visiting the site in question; and functionality cookies, which allow the site to remember choices you make (such as language, products added to your shopping cart) to improve your browsing experience and provide you with a better service.
While we are not required to gain your prior consent to place said cookies, we are required by art. 13 of the Italian Privacy Act to provide you with this statement.

b. Profile cookies.
The purpose of profile cookies is to create user profiles and they are used to send advertising messages that are relevant to you based on the choices you have made while browsing on line. Given that said devices can invade your privacy, European and Italian legislation requires that you be suitably warned of the use of said cookies and thus be able to give your consent.
This matter is covered by art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Act, which states that "the storage of information in the terminal of a contracting party or user or access to information already stored are only allowed provided that the contracting party or user has given their consent once suitably advised according to the simplified procedures set out in article 13, paragraph 3" (art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Italian Privacy Act). This site does not use profile cookies in any way.
VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Except in the case of navigational data, as specified above, it is your choice whether or not to provide us with your personal information via the enquiry forms or when contacting us to request that we send information, informational material or other communications.

Failure to provide such data may make it impossible for us to satisfy your request.

For the sake of thoroughness, we should advise you that, in some cases (which are not part of the regular running of this site), the authorities may demand information in accordance with art. 157 of the Italian Privacy Act (D.Lgs.) n° 196/2003, for the purpose of checking personal data processing. In such cases, we are obliged to reply or an administrative penalty will be levied.

MEANS OF PROCESSING DATA
We process personal data using automated instruments only for the time it takes to achieve the purposes for which the data were originally collected.

Specific security measures are adopted to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
As the person to whom the personal data refer, you are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether said data are being held on you or not and to be informed of the content and source of said data; to check whether they are exact or to have data added to, updated or corrected (art. 7 of the Italian Privacy Act (D.Lgs.) n° 196/2003).

In accordance with the above-mentioned article, you are entitled to ask for unlawfully processed data to be deleted, transformed into anonymous form or blocked and, in any case, to object to the processing of said data for legitimate reasons.
